Imprisonment, Neglect, and Contradiction: The
Colorado Springs Jail today (Saturday) convicted 58-year-old Kindergarten playwright Carla Faith and her assistant Christina Swagger of 26 counts of child abuse, ending one of the most shocking cases in the peaceful city In Colorado.
The affair began in November 2019, when police raided the kindergarten run by Faith, and found that although the kindergarten teacher's license allowed her to care for only six children, she actually cared for 26 children - and hid them in a secret room behind a wall in her basement.

Police officers who arrived at Faith's home said that when they arrived at Faith's home, she told them there were no children there - but they heard children crying from the basement, and when they got there they found the toddlers, all up to two years old, in dirty, thirsty and sweaty diapers behind the wall to hide The children.
The prosecutor in the case, Michael Allen, said in response to the conviction: "The families and children are entitled to justice. I think this conviction gave them a little bit of that."
