A 44-year-old man was arrested this Saturday on suspicion of having committed the double crime of a woman and her daughter, found murdered in a house in the Buenos Aires town of Villa Pineral, after having confessed to his sister that he had "sent a shit".
They are Juan Jesús Silva, a neighbor of Vera Ylda Oviedo (83) and Luzmilda María Gauto (60) who lives one block from the scene of the event committed this Friday on Peru Street, between Mendoza and Carlos Tejedor.
The arrest occurred after a 21-year-old girl, the defendant's sister, appeared at the police station and reported that he told her that "he had sent a shit," after which he handed her
a soccer shirt, pants and a jacket with blood stains
.
Given this testimony, the prosecutor in the case, Carlos Insaurralde, ordered a search of Silva's house, about 100 meters from the victims' house.
The suspect will be investigated for the crime of "double aggravated homicide." The man had injuries to his hands and face, so the investigators will try to determine if they were caused by the victims to defend themselves from the attack.
According to the sources, in the autopsies,
samples
were taken
under the women's nails to confirm if there were traces of Silva's DNA
.
The fact was discovered around 6 on Friday when Gauto's son-in-law went to the house because neither she nor her mother responded to the calls.
Upon entering, the man found Gauto in the bathroom of the house with signs of strangulation and beatings, while Oviedo was in one of the rooms, with injuries to his body and neck.
"It seems that Luzmila's son-in-law was trying to communicate with her and did not answer the phone. He usually leaves his daughters because he lives nearby, so he came and found the two lying there. The man left almost decomposed and scared because you don't expect this, "said a neighbor named Telma.
The case is investigated by the prosecutor Carlos Insaurralde, from the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 3 of San Martín.
"I knew them both, I'm very surprised. She worked in a factory around here. She lived with her mother and they are both dead, that's all we know," Telma closed.
Judicial spokesmen said that several sectors of the house were in turmoil, although the openings showed no signs of having been forced or violated.
Faced with this situation, the investigators suspect that the victims may have allowed the murderer to enter because there was
some prior knowledge or they had a relationship of trust with him.
