8,482 people have been diagnosed in the last 24 hours as positive for the corona virus - the Ministry of Health updated today (Saturday).

The figure indicates a continued decline in numbers, after 8,800 people were diagnosed in Corona on Thursday.

The number of critically ill patients rose to 703, of whom 153 were respirators.
