The Russian company Promobot has created a human-like robot with two mobile hands that can gesture and communicate with an audience.
The RIA Novosti news agency quoted the company’s media office as saying: “The most prominent feature of the upgraded version of the robot is the ability of its hands to move in 12 degrees of freedom, and that each hand of the new robot is equipped with eight motors that enable the robot to transfer payloads weighing up to 2 kilograms, indicating direction and tension on the hand. interlocutor and send air kisses.”
Oleg Kivokurtsev, the company's development director, revealed that Promobot is also planning to teach the robot to write in several languages and draw, noting that the company has started working on providing the robot with two mobile legs.
The robots of the company Promobot, founded in 2015 in the Russian city of Perm, operate in 43 countries, where they perform some jobs alongside human employees in departments, banks, tourism institutions and airports.
