Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian affirmed that security in the region can only be achieved through mutual trust between its countries, explaining that foreign interference in it is destabilizing it.
During a meeting with his Kuwaiti counterpart Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah on the sidelines of the Baghdad summit, Abdullahian reiterated his country's position calling for achieving peace and regional dialogue through dialogue between the countries of the region away from foreign interference, pointing out that security can only be established through mutual trust between these countries.
The Iranian foreign minister also expressed the importance of regional countries' support for Iraq's stability and security, pointing out that achieving security can only be achieved with the participation of all Iraq's neighbors, including the brotherly and friendly country Syria.
The talks between the two sides also dealt with cooperation and partnership on bilateral relations and the most important issues of common interest between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Kuwait.
