According to medical sources in Afghanistan, the death toll from a suicide bombing outside Kabul airport in Afghanistan has risen to at least 170.
In addition, 13 American soldiers were killed in the attack and 200 people were wounded.
Among those killed were at least 28 Taliban fighters.
Also, British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raeb updated that two British citizens and a child of a British citizen were killed in the attack.
The two blasts and shootings - for which an Islamic State (ISIS) branch, ISIS-K, claimed responsibility - have shaken the region, while many civilians are seeking to leave the country occupied by the Taliban.
Prior to the attack, the United States warned its citizens not to enter the area due to warnings of possible terrorist incidents.
Now, in the United States, it is estimated that further explosions may follow.
Despite the attack, masses are still flocking to the site.
ISIS-K is mainly active on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, and according to the Center for Combating Terrorism in the West Point, it includes, in addition to Afghans, mainly Pakistanis and Uzbeks.
