Ugandan striker Waga Kizito, who scored seven goals last season in the Hapoel Kfar Saba uniform in the Premier League, landed in Israel today (Saturday) and will join the newcomer, Hapoel Nof Hagalil.
Kisito, who is married to a Portuguese, came from Portugal, where he has been living for the past few years.
He will hold his first team training tomorrow and coach Yaron Hochnaboim announced that he will include him in the squad on Monday, for the season opener against Hapoel Jerusalem.
Kizito: "Israel is a place I especially love, I thank the people of the Galilee landscape for the opportunity they gave me, I hope we have a good season, which will end better than last season in Kfar Saba."
The manager of the team, Sharon Suissa, who was greeted at the airport, said: "The season is already opening but our staff is not closed yet, we hope that Kizito and Gutierrez who will arrive soon will upgrade us and help us drive a stake in the Premier League."
