A number of Lebanese security forces were injured while chasing escaped prisoners from Dahr al-Baydar police station today.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the security forces sustained various injuries and bruises while chasing the fleeing prisoners in the bushes adjacent to the Dahr al-Baydar police station, noting that the Civil Defense personnel transferred the injured to hospitals to receive appropriate treatment.
Seven prisoners managed to escape this afternoon from Dahr al-Baydar police station, while information indicated that four of them had been arrested so far.
