And yet, "fines" of 25 euros (since 2018 baptized post-parking package or FPS) have still been drawn up by the municipal police.
The officers clearly had not received the information.
How many FPS have been trained? Difficult to know. But several motorists have alerted opposition officials to complain. The bug in question stems from a change of delegatee. Since the beginning of the month, underground and surface parking has been managed by the Interparking group. It replaces Indigo in the management of the 3,160 street spaces. This handover gave rise to a quack of computer origin for a fortnight in early August. The town hall recognizes it without difficulty and promises to show leniency for all the contested fines. "We do not yet know how many there are, even if, at this time of year, we do not expect a lot of people, specifies Jean-Luc Santini, deputy mayor (LR) in charge of roads and town planning. Since the reform of paid parking, cities directly manage FPS. It will therefore be easier for us to intervene and manage disputes.We will obviously be conciliatory with motorists unfairly fined. "
Good to know: the elected representative reminds that it is possible to avoid a fine when parking meters are down. It suffices, according to him, to affix his parking disc behind the windshield of his vehicle.
