The Suwayda gymnastics team for the junior category achieved a silver and two bronze medals during its participation in the Republic Championship held by the Game Federation in Damascus.
The results achieved were represented by the Suwayda national team taking second place in the teams through players Anmar Abu Fakhr, Karim Al-Khatib, Jalal Al-Shashaa and Muhammad Jabbour. Anmar Abu Fakhr also won the bronze in the jumping device and Karim Al-Khatib the bronze in the parallel device.
In a statement to the SANA representative, the head of the technical committee for gymnastics in Sweida, Louay Al-Harfoush, indicated that the tournament witnessed strong competitions and a strong return to Sweida in the junior category after several years of absence from participating in this category.
