Miesbach - A whole series of private corona test stations were targeted by investigators in the course of spring.
The accusation: fraud in the billing of the rapid tests.
One of the most prominent was the incident at the station in the parking lot of the Miesbacher Hagebaumarkt.
As reported, irregularities were noticed there.
The district's medical pandemic coordinator, Dr. Florian Meier, turned on the police. The case is now with the Bavarian Central Office for Combating Fraud and Corruption in the Health Care System (ZKG) in Nuremberg. And the investigations are still ongoing, the ZKG press office announced. In contrast to several other suspected cases in which the proceedings were discontinued due to a lack of evidence, a possible charge against the operator is not yet off the table. (sg)
