The Israeli occupation continues to seize Palestinian lands to expand settlement operations and eliminate any chance of establishing a Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 line, in violation of international legitimacy resolutions, foremost of which is UN Resolution 2334, which demands a halt to settlements.

Ma'an News Agency quoted the National Bureau for Defending Land and Resisting Settlements of the Palestine Liberation Organization as saying in its weekly report issued today that Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett confirmed in an interview with the American newspaper The New York Times that the expansion of settlement operations in the West Bank will continue and that he will prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state.

The report indicated that the occupation forces began razing large areas of Palestinian lands south of Qalqilya to expand a settlement road linking the settlements established in the northern West Bank to those built on the lands of the Kafr Saba area in the middle of the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948.

The report pointed out that the occupation forces bulldozed lands planted with 400 grape dahlias and dozens of olive trees in the Birin area, east of Hebron. They also swept areas of the towns of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, Qasra, south of Nablus, and Barta'a in Jenin, to expand settlement operations.

The report stated that the occupation forces demolished three houses, two of them in the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem, the third in the village of Al Walaja in Bethlehem, and several agricultural facilities, a health unit and a water well in the towns of Yatta and Al Dhahiriya, south of Hebron. in Nablus.

The report pointed out that the settlers continue to attack the cities and towns of the West Bank under the protection of the occupation forces, as they seized areas of Palestinian lands west of Deir Istiya town in the city of Salfit to establish a settlement outpost and prevented farmers from accessing their lands in the Jabal al-Ras area, west of the city. They also burned dozens of olive trees in the village of Salfit. Burin in Nablus.
