Even before the meteorological beginning of autumn, it is currently quite wet across Germany.
In the high areas, snow is even expected in the next few days.
A trend that will continue before the official start of autumn.
According to the German Weather Service (
DWD
), rain can still be expected in some areas
at the beginning of next week (August 30 and 31)
.
Especially in the direction of the Alps there can be "heavy rain and sometimes brief thunderstorms".

On the 1st of September, however, the clouds will leave.
Deep Nick is moving towards western Europe.
So it will be "increasingly dry and a little warmer from Wednesday (01.09)," informs the
DWD
.
The north in particular will notice the change by the middle of the week.

At the North Sea, the first solar phases are expected punctually in the middle of the week.
In the south, too, the rain showers decrease towards Thursday and give way to a late summer autumn.
It should be bright or sunny and above all dry.
The temperatures at the lake are between 18 and 22 degrees.
Otherwise even summer highs of 20 to 26 degrees are to be expected.
A few individual showers, especially in the Alps and the North Sea, are of course not excluded.

In general, Germany can expect a few nice, sunny days with friendly weather at the beginning of autumn.
Sometimes a bit cloudy in places.
But there shouldn't be much in the way of the last barbecue evenings.
