A traffic accident in the Irschenberg district of Wendling on Friday evening resulted in injuries and property damage.
Help was there very quickly - also thanks to a coincidence.
Irschenberg - When turning left, a 31-year-old Salzburg woman in the Irschenberg district of Wendling overlooked an oncoming vehicle on Friday evening.
As a result, there was a head-on collision, which not only resulted in minor injuries but also property damage.
As reported by the Miesbach police station, the Salzburg woman was driving her Audi on the B 472 coming from Irschenberg at around 6:20 p.m.
In Wendling, the driver wanted to turn left towards the Salzburg motorway exit.
"Here she overlooked a 52-year-old from Munich who was driving his BMW X5 on the B 472 in the direction of Irschenberg," write the officials.

"The two vehicles collided head-on, as a result of which the occupants of the Audi were slightly injured."
"The driver of the BMW was unharmed," wrote the police.
The vehicles involved were severely damaged as a result of the accident, which the police put at around 18,500 euros.
Both vehicles had to be towed.
It was also a coincidence that those involved in the accident had the very quick help: "At the time of the accident, the THW Rosenheim was on the motorway in the area of the Irschenberg service station," the officials said.
The THW emergency services "heard the collision and immediately rushed to the scene of the accident".
THW took over first aid for the injured - the federal road was partially closed
According to the police report, the helpers took over the first aid for the injured, tied up leaking supplies and secured the scene of the accident until the rescue service arrived.
Also on site were two ambulances, an emergency doctor, the rescue service chief, the Hausham road maintenance depot and two police patrols.
For the duration of the recording of the accident and the recovery of the vehicles, the B 472 was partially closed in the affected area.
