On Sunday morning, a lifeless woman was floating in the water at the Oberföhring weir in the Isar.

A person was discovered floating lifeless in the Isar and pulled out of the river by the fire brigade.
The police are investigating what happened.
According to the police, the integrated control center in Munich received a call in the morning.
It was reported that in the Isar at the Oberföhring weir, a person is floating in the water.
As a result, several units were alerted and immediately made their way to the weir.
There the officers split up into different sections of the Isar and the Middle Isar Canal along the English Garden and searched the affected area downstream.

At the level of the Herzog-Heinrich-Brücke, the person who was a woman was spotted by the crew of a fire engine and then pulled to the bank.
There the emergency services immediately began resuscitation measures.
After the emergency doctor intensified this, the woman was transported to the shock room of a Munich clinic.
It is currently not known whether the woman is currently conscious again or whether her life is still in danger.

The officers are currently investigating whether it was an accident or what exactly led to the woman falling into the Isar.

A 14-year-old boy who jumped into the Isar at the beginning of August and was aborted could only be recovered dead about a week later.
His friends have now erected a memorial for him.
