Senegalese-American center Malik Day is close to signing for Maccabi Rishon Lezion, Israel Today has learned for the first time.
Dame (28, 2.06m) played last season in Andorra from the Spanish league and averaged 3.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
Before that he played for Laverio from the Greek league and for the Ukrainian BC Kiev.
Dame will join foreigners Chris Claiborne and TJ Williams who had already signed earlier this summer.
The Oranges are expected to add another inside player to complete the roster.
