Liel Abda made his first career appearance today (Sunday) in the Glasgow derby - the "Old Firm" between his team Celtic and the hated rival Rangers, who hosted the game at Ibrooks Stadium.
The talented Israeli and his teammates really wanted to win a derby for the first time in two years (December 2019) but this time too they went down undefeated when the champion who ran over the Scottish League last year managed to score one goal that made all the difference.
After long minutes of control in the second half, Rangers' pressure paid off in the 67th minute.
A corner kick by Borna Brishic found the head of Philip Lander who slammed into the net and subdued Joe Hart.
0: 1 for the Blues, a result that was maintained until the end.
