A traffic accident occurred on Xintian Highway. At 10:30 am today (29th), a 5.5-ton truck on Xintian Highway collided with a Porsche. The Porsche driver was trapped in a coma and was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital in critical condition.
The truck driver was sober and was rushed to North District Hospital for treatment. Two passengers in the vehicle were also injured.
The pictures on the Internet showed that the truck turned over and the road was smashed and burst open.
The orange Porsche sports car was badly damaged, the driver was bloodied, and the safety airbag popped out.
The Porsche sports car involved is a GT3 RS car series with a roll cage inside.
The police are investigating the incident.

Police alleged that the truck and private car were driving along San Tin Highway towards Sheung Shui. When the private car reached a right turn on Lok Ma Chau San Tin Highway near Mai Po Long, it was suspected of losing control and crashing into the right rear of the truck.
The lorry then rammed the central separation road and turned over. The private car also rammed the iron railings and then the central separation road.
Police officers arrived at the scene. The 38-year-old male truck driver surnamed Li, the 61-year-old male passenger surnamed Lu, and the 30-year-old male passenger surnamed Liao private car were all soberly sent to the North District Hospital for treatment.
The 28-year-old male driver of a private car surnamed Mai was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment with a head injury and was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital.
Affected by the accident, the Transport Department once announced the closure of Lines 2 and 3 of San Tin Highway towards Sheung Shui near Mai Po.
Motorists can only use the first lane because of heavy traffic.
