A security detainee at Damon Prison, who is accused of attempting an attack, is in her ninth month of pregnancy when she is expected to give birth every day, and the IPS is preparing to hold a baby inside the prison walls. An IPS official even told Walla!

Because they "know how to buy Materna or diapers when needed."

Palestinian detainee Anhar Dar al-Din, 26, from the village of Naama near Ramallah, is accused of aggravated assault and possession of a knife in the stabbing attack at the nearby Sde Ephraim outpost, which took place on March 8.

She is detained until the end of the proceedings, while her trial is being held in the Judean military court in the Ofer camp.

Eldik is expected to give birth under guard in the delivery room of a hospital in Haifa, and according to her, by caesarean section, and after she recovers - a resident of the prison with her baby.

Several dozen protesters, including MK Aida Toma Suleiman from the joint list, protested outside the prison on Sunday in solidarity with her, waving Palestinian flags and calling for her release. Baby toys. The

regulations allow the IPS to hold a baby with its mother until it is two years old, but currently there is only one baby in all the prison service facilities - the daughter of a criminal inmate held with her in the Neve Tirza women's prison.

A baby held with a security prisoner is in general an exceptional event and the birth of a prisoner in prison is not remembered at all in the prison service.

According to the indictment filed against her about a month after the attempted attack, Eldik passed under the outpost fence, and approached the house in the outpost. The landlord's wife then heard the dogs barking, and when she went out to find out what was happening she noticed her. Despite her calls to stay away, Eldik continued to move towards her, struggling with her and while the woman called her partner and called for help, the Palestinian entered the house and walked into the kitchen, while the owners' eight-year-old daughter ran out with her one-year-old sister.

Meanwhile, Eldik took a knife from the kitchen, swung it in front of the woman and when it came out on the balcony and closed the door, Aldik pushed it away and tried to open it, waving the knife. At that moment, the husband and his brother, who heard the cries for help, arrived, pulled out his pistol and the husband ordered Eldik in Arabic to leave the knife. She turned around, saw them and the gun - and dropped the knife. So they took her over and held her until the security forces who arrested her arrived - and she has been detained ever since.

In April, the court ordered the arrest of the defendant until the end of the legal proceedings, with the consent of her attorney.

Palestinian sources say that since her arrest, she has received only one visit from her husband.

In addition, according to Palestinian sources, 4,850 prisoners and detainees are being held in Israel, including 41 women, including 12 mothers of children.

Eldik is herself the mother of a child, Julia, and the expected birth will soon be the birth of her second child.

Her family published a letter last week in which she expresses her fears about the birth and what awaits her and her baby in prison.

On Friday, the Palestinian delegation to the UN in Geneva sent an urgent request to the international community to act for her release, for humanitarian reasons, among other things due to her poor mental state and depression and fear of fate after giving birth. In the case of Eldik, from which it emerged that she was fit to stand trial, the military court recently requested a supplementary opinion regarding her condition.
