An indictment was recently filed against a 50-year-old man for assaulting his wife's father in Bat Yam, in the middle of the street and in front of children. According to the indictment, he did so after the brother-in-law took a sword from him that he was holding in his house, fearing he would kill his daughter, they have three children in common. Defendant has previous convictions for offenses of intimidation, domestic violence and assault causing sabotage.
The defendant, who had previously been indicted for domestic violence, was holding a sword in his home. According to the indictment, his father-in-law decided to take the sword from the defendant's home, who noticed this and demanded her restraint. When his wife's father refused to return the sword to him if he did not undertake to leave it outside the house, the defendant threw stones at him.
The indictment further states that after the stones were thrown, the defendant took the sword, lowered it onto the motorcycle in which he was riding and stored it in the trunk.
The hothead, who feared the defendant would hurt his daughter, was furious at the stone-throwing and began to follow him.
Defendant in response began attacking his father-in-law with kicks and punches even though he was already lying on the road.
He is even accused of attacking him with a knife in his possession and causing him injuries.

According to the indictment, after the assault, the defendant drove towards his wife's apartment.
This alerted the police officers who arrested the defendant.
During the investigation, investigators collected documentation from security cameras and collected evidence that supported the hot version.
Despite the documentation presented to him, the defendant denied in his police interrogation what was attributed to him.
The hot man who was attacked said that "I ask myself why I chased him downstairs. It was out of an instinct of 'why he threw stones at me'. I am afraid he will be released and come to me or the girl."
Defendant has previously been hospitalized three times in psychiatric wards with bipolar disorder, but the latest examination performed for him found no psychotic signs.
He was detained until the end of the legal proceedings against him due to danger to the public.
