"Switzerland is calmer, but also more boring,"
said Security Minister Sabina Frederic, unleashing a wave of criticism from the opposition and even from the ruling party itself.
Although this Monday the official tried to clarify her sayings and assured that she does not underestimate "at all" the problem of insecurity that the country suffers, her Buenos Aires counterpart, Sergio Berni, took the opportunity to once again question the work of the minister at the head of the portfolio.
"During the pandemic he was partying, we were working instead of partying; with that intellectual gaze that has nothing to do with reality, those of us who live in the suburbs feel that it is on another frequency," Berni said.
With the same tone, he continued: "Why don't you become aware of our dead? Why don't you come to work in the villages with us? Why don't you come to work against drug trafficking with the problems we have here, no in Rosario? ".
