The Education Committee, headed by MK Sharan Hashakel, presents today (Monday) in the Knesset the Ministry of Education's preparations for the opening of the school year this coming Wednesday.
"I am aware of the parents' concerns and the public's concerns ahead of the start of the school year," Shasha-Bitton said in her opening remarks.
"We all want to provide a safe environment, but this is risk management and an outline formulated together with the Ministry of Health, which will approve returning the objectives to the system and doing the maximum to maintain their health and learning continuity in schools."
The Minister of Education also referred to the teachers of the education system, and said that "we must remember that the teachers also had a difficult year. Some of the teachers also had children inside the house that you had to deal with. They also need the envelope, we as an office ".
