Speech therapists will always be charged with 3 more people and will be transferred to the district hospital for trial. All defendants will be refused bail

The Hong Kong Speech Therapist Association has been accused of publishing 3 children’s picture books involving incitement. Following the charges against its chairman and vice-chairmen earlier, 3 more directors of the Association have been prosecuted today (30th) and escorted to them in the afternoon. When the West Kowloon Court appeared, the prosecution requested that the case of the three persons be merged with the case of the chairman and the deputy chairman and adjourned until September 24 to prepare the documents for referral to the district court. The prosecution was approved by Acting Chief Magistrate Luo Quan.

The defendants also applied for bail, but Luo Guan refused all of them.

The case of the two defendants Li Wenling (26 years old, chairman) and Yang Yiyi (27 years old, vice chairman), who have been charged earlier, were also brought before the West Kowloon Court this afternoon. The other three defendants were charged only today: Wu Qiaoyi (28 years old), Chen Yuansen (25 years old) and Fang Zihao (26 years old) face one count of "conspiracy to print, publish, distribute, display or copy seditious publications".

The defendants were all accused of conspiring to print, publish, distribute, display and or copy event publications in Hong Kong from June 4, 2020 to July 22, 2021, with Huang Kaiqing and others, including 3 names Books for "Guardians of Yangcun", "Twelve Warriors of Yangcun" and "Sweeper of Yangcun", intended to arouse hatred or contempt of the SAR government or arouse rebellion; arouse hatred, contempt or arouse against Hong Kong's judicial system It rebels; incites others to use violence; and induces others to disobey the law or disobey legal orders.
