Rotem Sela captivated us to the screen last night (Sunday) in "The Next Star" and not for the reasons you think of it - but mainly due to her attire that caught our attention.
Sela wore a black male suit designed by Dror Geva, consisting of a blazer jacket, a white shirt with a collar in the classic cut and Bermuda shorts.
The accessories that were added to the unique look were also in black: a silk bow tie, a leather belt, fishnet tights and high heels.

Sela's choice of this suit may be pure fashion from a connection to this style, but it seems that the choice of masculine clothing combined with accessories with distinctly feminine elements, which have been labeled throughout history as such - mesh stockings that hint at sexuality, the big bow that was an addition to women's. Perhaps an attempt to produce a statement on issues in which Sela has often expressed himself: freedom of choice, an era in which anything is possible, and a masculine suit with feminine features can be adopted in it and it fits in great.
Maybe that's why the suit pants are in the Bermuda cut, unlike most male suits, so they can see the feminine features in question: tights and high heels.
In conclusion - this is a brave choice that suits her, sits great on her and also aligns with the values with which she identifies.
