Lionel Messi's debut with the Paris Saint Germain jersey registered
an audience of more than six million viewers in Spain alone

PSG's game against Reims for French Ligue 1 1 was televised on the Twitch channel of streamer Ibai Llanos and also on Telecinco, and between the two they reached an audience of 6,734,000 viewers.
According to a statement from the Kosmos company, owned by footballer Gerard Piqué,
a total of 2 million people and an average of 343,000 watched the PSG game on the Ibai channel.
Meanwhile,
the Telecinco channel registered a total of 2,214,000 viewers.

"The total audience is impressive, with 6,734,000 viewers," the Kosmos company statement remarked.
The purchase of the rights to the French league is Piqué's second bet with streamer Ibai in soccer
, after the broadcast of the Copa América that Argentina won in Brazil.
The final played on July 11 at the Maracana had an average audience of 510 thousand viewers on the Ibai Twitch channel.
Piqué and Llanos maintain a close personal and professional relationship

Messi's former partner in Barcelona had acquired the television rights to the French Football League (Ligue 1 and Ligue 2) through his company Kosmos and in collaboration with Enjoy Television.
The contract - an operation linked to Messi's landing at Paris Saint Germain (PSG) - is until 2024 for a figure that exceeded the 2.5 million euros per year paid by the previous owner of the rights for the televising of French football in Spain.
