REPORT - This high mountain gendarmerie platoon is stepping up its operations until the end of the summer.


15 h 55. The rotor of Dragon 38-2, one of the Civil Security helicopters used by the high mountain gendarmerie platoon (PGHM) of Isère, starts up.

The alert was given a few minutes earlier after the violent fall of a mountain biker, in the Deux-Alpes sector.

Two rescuers and an anesthetist board the helicopter alongside the pilot but also the mechanic, essential during winching operations.
