The Ministry of Electricity announced the formation of a committee to assess the reality of reservoirs in all power plants after the accident of a fuel leak at the Baniyas power plant.
The ministry indicated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that it will hold accountable those who are proven to be negligent and negligent in performing their duties in the fuel leak incident that occurred at the Baniyas power station.
Last Monday, a quantity of fuel leaked from one of the tanks belonging to the Banias power plant and led to the pollution of Baniyas Beach for several kilometers, some of which reached the Jableh Beach.
