Sounds strange, but this is exactly how the weather situation over Germany will be in the coming days. In terms of calendar, we move into September on Wednesday, but meteorologically, however, also into autumn.
And suddenly the year wants to show its good side again - with which it has so far been stingy.

It stays mostly dry and the sun often shows up. ”The east and south then follow suit 24 hours later.
Weather in Germany: Lusatia is still at risk of flooding
In the whole of the north it will be “partly bright and sunny”, even values above 20 degrees are no longer a utopia.
However, there are initially just exceptions: In Lusatia there is still a risk of heavy rain on Tuesday: "The danger of flooding is still not averted."
In Bavaria, too, it gets wet again.
According to Gröbel, dense rain clouds still hang over the southeast half of the Oder down to the Alps.
Occasionally they empty, sometimes it can pour more heavily.
Weather in Germany: In some regions, continuous rain can last into Tuesday night
The severe weather situation from Monday continues here, causing continuous rain in the south of Bavaria up to Augsburg and Landshut, around Erfurt and in a band from the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania border to Poland to the Harz Mountains.
In these regions it can pour uninterrupted into the night of Tuesday - the last meteorological day of summer.
In Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, Saxony and Bavaria even floods are possible, because a lot of moisture has already come from above in the past few days.
Responsible for this unworthy summer end is the low "Nick", which is fortunately displaced by high "Gaya".

Weather in Germany: In the south at night only single-digit plus degrees

However, it will be foggy in the west and south, which is why Gröbel concludes: “That still has a bit of autumn.” While it will probably only be six degrees at night on the edge of the Alps and it will also remain single-digit in the Black Forest, it will also be on the Baltic Sea 15 degrees warmest.
The weather expert also warns at these temperatures: “Although late summer comes from Wednesday, but especially in the morning hours it feels like autumn.” During the day, we can expect “a lot of sunshine, now and then a few thicker ones Clouds, the showers can really be counted on one hand ”.
The relatively little rain then falls again in Saxony and in the extreme south-east of Bavaria.
Weather in Germany: The 25-degree mark will be jumped from Thursday
In terms of temperatures, there are the greatest swings in the south of the country.
In Bavaria it is sometimes “only” 18 degrees, in Baden-Württemberg 24 degrees can be reached.
But that's just the beginning, because it gets even better.
"On Thursday and Friday we will then once again reach the summer mark of 25 degrees", Gröbel exudes a summer feeling.
It stays coolest on the coasts at 23 and 22 degrees respectively.
But what are the prospects compared to the weather these days?
It can get even warmer at the weekend.
Highs of 27 degrees are expected for Saturday, 28 degrees could be reached on Sunday.

Whereby Groebel has to restrict something: "Over the weekend the risk of showers and thunderstorms increases from the southwest, but on the whole it remains late summer."
