A 42-year-old was overwhelmed by sleep at the wheel of his Mercedes on Tuesday night.
This had consequences on the B 11 between Königsdorf and Bad Heilbrunn.

- The journey of a 42-year-old Benediktbeurer ended in a pasture fence on Tuesday night.
According to the police, he was driving his Mercedes Vito on Bundesstraße 11 from Königsdorf towards Bad Heilbrunn at around 1:50 a.m.
At the level of the Heilbrunn district of Kiensee he came off the road to the left via the opposite lane.
First he drove over a delineator post, then he broke through a pasture fence, which he destroyed over a length of about 15 meters.
In the end he came to a stop on the adjacent field.

The Benediktbeurer survived the accident unharmed.
Property damage to his Mercedes was estimated at 3500 euros.
The repair of the pasture fence should cost around 500 euros.
The 42-year-old told the police that he fell asleep while driving.
