District - Deutsche Bahn plans to rebuild four level crossings in Holzkirchen and Warngau from September.

For drivers, this means diversion.

In Holzkirchen, the level crossings at Miesbacher and Tegernseer Straße are being renewed and equipped with the latest technology.

Since both are technically dependent on the level crossings in the Warngau districts of Lochham and Thann, it is necessary to renew all four level crossings in one go, reports the market town.

After preparatory civil engineering work had already been carried out in the first half of the year, final work will now be carried out on the railway line from September to December.

At the two level crossings in Holzkirchen there are likely to be road closures on one side and thus minor restrictions for car traffic, according to the message.

From mid-September to November

In Warngau, due to the extensive road construction work at the Lochham and Thann level crossings, both will probably have to be completely closed to traffic.

As far as the structural processes allow, the work on the level crossings should be carried out at different times so that the construction sites have as little effect as possible on road traffic.

This will alternately be diverted via the other level crossing in Warngau.

Restrictions at the Lochham and Thann level crossings can be expected from mid-September to November.

DB Netz AG also asks residents to understand the extensive construction work.

If you have any questions, those affected can contact info@bahnausbau-muenchen.de.

Munich – Holzkirchen – Bayrischzell route

Furthermore, DB Netz AG is carrying out construction work that affects train connections of the Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) in the Oberland network early in the morning and at night from Tuesday, August 31st to Saturday, September 11th.

The timetable changes and rail replacement services (SEV) with buses on the Munich – Holzkirchen – Bayrischzell route are used.

The section between Miesbach and Bayrischzell is affected.

Since the main road between Hausham and Schliersee is closed, the SEV bus cannot leave the BRB stops in the usual order and runs from Hausham directly to Fischbachau, the BRB reports.

Passengers from or to Schliersee and Fischhausen-Neuhaus can use the separate shuttle bus from or to Fischbachau.

The SEV stop in Hausham is on Brentenstrasse.

"The buses leave considerably later and arrive later than the trains on the regular timetable," explains the company based in Holzkirchen. Special timetables are available for download at www.brb.de. The train connections not listed there go according to plan.
