Bad Wörishofen - This year's Festival of Nations is casting its shadow ahead. Thanks to a good hygiene concept and the double concerts, as many guests as possible should come to the art enjoyment, which is probably unique in Germany. Bad Wörishofen - This year's Festival of Nations is casting its shadow ahead. Thanks to a good hygiene concept and the double concerts, as many guests as possible should come to the art enjoyment, which is probably unique in Germany. One can especially look forward to the special concert by violin virtuoso Anne-Sophie Mutter, who will be performing for the first time in Bad Wörishofen on September 5th.

"We are looking forward to the festival in the anniversary year of Kneipp," said Winfried Roch, director of the Festival of Nations.

It is especially the large number of well-known guests that Roch is pleased about.

The festival will be opened by the Bavarian Minister for Family Affairs, Carolina Trautner, and “top-class political celebrities”, Roch put it.

However, they will communicate in good time who exactly will be coming to the concerts, including those of the vbw festival orchestra.

“People are thirsty for music,” the director knows from numerous conversations.

There are still remaining tickets

Therefore the demand for concert tickets is enormous and one tries to meet the demand;

As of today, there are still remaining tickets for individual events.

Events after the concerts, as was the case in previous years, will not take place this year.

Nevertheless, we are grateful to District Administrator Alex Eder, who made the festival possible due to the hygiene concept presented, said Bad Wörishofen's Mayor Stefan Welzel.

Roch was particularly pleased that the Grammy winner and the artistic personality of the classical music scene are coming to Bad Wörishofen for the first time.

“This is something very special,” said Roch about Anne-Sophie Mutter's upcoming performance.

It could hardly be any more top-class this year, according to Roch, also with a view to other artists such as Diana Damrau and Nigel Kennedy.

Experience music together

Not only the youngsters of the vbw festival orchestra have been looking forward to the performance for over a year. The concert of the best musicians among the eleven to 17 year olds from all over Bavaria is also recorded by Bavarian television, as is the opening concert. The festival orchestra will play pieces by Mozart and Schumann. Thanks go to the managing director of the Association of Bavarian Business, Bertram Brossardt, said Welzel and Roch at the photo session; Brossardt had brought the festival orchestra into being. The orchestra is not only a lighthouse project in Bavaria but, above all, in Germany, which, in this constellation, only exists in Bad Wörishofen, said Roch. And added: "We are happy that the music can play again." Above all, that you can experience the music live and together.That is also the message: that you can experience the music together. This will make Bad Wörishofen a cultural oasis next to Munich or Bayreuth, concluded Stefan Welzel.
