Erding - "The entire cellar is full of water," reported Hotel Victory boss Jens Bernitzky to our editorial team on Monday morning.
The water is around a meter high, but it is getting less.
The fire brigades are busy pumping.
The district fire inspection, the Altenerding and Erding fire brigades and the rescue service were in action.
The flood occurred because the Iztlinger Graben had overflowed.
Immediately at the thermal baths, the stream flows into a pipe and continues underground.
Due to the amount of water, however, it accumulated there.

"Fortunately, nobody was injured," said hotel manager Bernitzky.
But the power supply in the hotel has failed.
"Maybe we can change that again later in the day, but first of all it's about absorbing the damage," he said.
A crisis meeting was called in the thermal baths.
In the run-up to the meeting, the hotel manager stated that he believed the hotel would have to close for a few days.
A damage assessment is only possible when the water in the basement has been pumped out.

The wave pool at Therme Erding was also affected by the flood. Spa manager Marcus Maier explained that a connecting door between the hotel and wave pool cellar had broken in due to the amount of water and that the wave pool cellar was also under water. In order to avoid worse, the power supply was switched off there. The lounging area at the wave pool is still open, but the water treatment is not possible. “I've never experienced anything like this in the 15 years I've been here,” said Maier. "We now have to wait until the water has been pumped out and then we have to repair everything as quickly as possible." He only knows more details when the cellars are dry again and the damage can be absorbed, "but I fear bad things".
The Therme Erding was still open on Monday, as Maier continues to report.
The Galaxy slide pool and the sauna area were not affected by the flood.
"We have reduced our prices and the guests are very understanding."
The entire district of Erding is currently affected by a heavy rain event.
The A94 is also completely closed after a mudslide.
