IAA Munich Mobility: Dispute over bike demo on the autobahn
In addition to the actions of civil disobedience, an alternative summit to the mobility transition (9/10 September) as well as a demonstration and a bike rally are planned in the vicinity of the IAA.
According to the organizers, the bike protest on Saturday (September 11th) will partly also take place on the A94 between Munich Messe Riem and the end of the motorway Einsteinstraße / Prinzregentenstraße and on the A96 from Freiham towards the city center.
However, the district administration department (KVR) Munich had forbidden the route over the planned motorway sections last Thursday (September 26).
The General German Bicycle Club (ADFC), Attac, BUND, Campact, Deutsche Umwelthilfe, Greenpeace, Germany's Friends of Nature and the German Transport Club have called for the rally.
On Thursday, the ADFC Munich submitted an urgent application to the Munich Administrative Court against the KVR ban.
A decision is expected soon, said the 1st chairman of the ADFC Munich, Andreas Schön on Monday.
At the IAA 2019 in Frankfurt, an alliance around the ADFC organized a rally against the automobile show.

IAA Munich Mobility: Focus on transformation
This year, the IAA wants to focus primarily on the topic of transformation at the new location in Munich. Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) has announced that she will be opening on September 7th.
