Permitted for publication: As part of an investigation by the GSS, the police and the IDF, a shooting attack carried out during a violent disturbance in the Hebron area was solved during Operation The Guardian of the Walls.
On May 12, a violent disturbance of dozens of Palestinians took place near the village of Sa'ir, in the Hebron area.
During the disturbance, a shot was fired at an IDF force that was on the scene and as a result, a soldier was hit by two bullet wounds, a helmet and the radio he was carrying. The soldier lost consciousness as a result of the injury, but did not need medical treatment.
As part of the investigation into the attack, which included complex and varied intelligence moves, the terrorist was arrested, Muhammad Jabarin, 31, a resident of Sa'ir.
In the past, Jabarin ran a 10-month prison sentence after being convicted of membership in a military cell belonging to the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist organization, the purpose of which was to carry out military activity.
The GSS investigation revealed that Muhammad Jabarin carried out the shooting attack with a weapon belonging to the monk Muhammad Hussein Jabarin, 30, a resident of Sa'ir.
Montserrat was arrested for questioning and during which an M16 weapon was used, through which the attack was carried out, as well as two cartridges.
