Police will hold a targeted operation to enforce corona regulations next month among trained returnees, and are preparing for a large-scale transportation operation to return tens of thousands of followers to their homes.
The police said that one of the biggest challenges during the Tishrei holidays is the return of tens of thousands of trained followers.
A senior police official said today (Tuesday) that the days on which enforcement will focus on trained returnees will be between the day of their return and the eve of Yom Kippur.
He added that a delegation from the Israel Police will leave for Uman, which this year will focus its activities mainly on advocacy among the Hasidim.
Police station commanders were instructed to hold a dialogue with local rabbis regarding the observance of corona regulations.
The police will also tighten the check on departures and returns, and will not allow flying for those who deviate from the regulations.

In addition, at the request of the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Magen David Adom is preparing to run an approved (molecular) test during the Tishrei holidays to board a flight for the many Israelis who will attend Rosh Hashanah prayers in Uman, Ukraine.
The national mission will be operated in cooperation with the various government ministries, while flying Israeli MDA teams - who will perform the tests on the worshipers so that they can return to Israel safely.
The test complexes will be built at the airport in Kiev, Ukraine, and near the site marking the grave of R. Nachman of Breslav.
The tests will be molecular, allowing an answer within half an hour, with a very high level of accuracy, equivalent to a FDA-approved PCR test. After receiving the answer, the subjects will receive a printed certificate in the Magen David Adom technology systems with which they can fly back to Israel.
According to government guidelines, every citizen seeking to return to Israel is required to present a negative corona test before boarding the plane.
"During the Tishrei holidays, we will launch the corona testing operation in Ukraine at the request of government ministries," said Eli Bin MDA director general.
"Magen David Adom teams will be available to the Israeli worshipers, to ensure their safe return to Israel and their families and to interrupt the potential infection chain. We are currently at the peak of preparations for the project, in collaboration with the local Red Cross in Ukraine ".
