Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's relationship with the rest of the royal family is strained.
But now a secret meeting is fueling hopes.

With their spectacular TV interview with US show host Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan, plunged the British monarchy into crisis.
Harry and Meghan are said to have fallen out of favor with Queen Elizabeth II since then, various media reported.
The monarch always had a particularly close relationship with her grandson Harry.
In the new edition of the Harry and Meghan biography "Finding Freedom", the authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand now stated that the prince had secretly met with his grandmother.
Harry and the Queen are said to have spent time together on the sidelines of Prince Philip's funeral in London.

Prince Harry's affection for his grandmother is said not to have changed.
He had enjoyed the "precious moments" with her to the full, explained Scobie and Durand.
"To see his grandmother again after such a long separation was something very special because he had never been separated from her for so long," said the authors in an interview with the English magazine
Town and Country
.
"Despite everything that has happened, he feels the greatest love and respect for her."
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan don't regret the Oprah interview
In contrast to Prince Harry, Meghan could not travel to London at the time.
The Duchess of Sussex was heavily pregnant with her second child, daughter Lilibet, at the time.
According to the description of the two biographers, the former actress and her husband do not regret the step in public and the Oprah interview.
Duchess Meghan found this rather "liberating", the book says.
It remains to be seen whether the relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family can be saved.
Recently, rumors made the rounds that after the publication of the new edition of "Finding Freedom" the Queen would seek advice from lawyers.
