Just days after the announcement of his appointment by Sony Pictures Television, Mike Richards found himself at the heart of a controversy over contemptuous comments about his co-hosts and women in general, made eight years ago in the one of his podcasts.
He had given up on presenting the show, but that was not enough to defuse criticism.

We had hoped that when Mike left the role of host of Jeopardy !, it would have alleviated the difficulties that we have all been through in recent weeks.
