A 3-year-old girl, who fell ill in Corona in early August, was hospitalized in critical condition in the intensive care unit at Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital while she was anesthetized and breathing.

The girl, who did recover from Corona, has no history of background illnesses.

Three more children have been hospitalized in critical condition since the beginning of the week due to similar symptoms.



Pims Syndrome in which she suffers is characterized as an inflamed post-coronary syndrome in children, and its signs are high fever, rash, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, general weakness, and decreased blood pressure.

Although this syndrome is rare, it can be dangerous, similar to Kawasaki disease, which can lead to the formation of an aneurysm in the coronary arteries in the heart and even death.



947 people have been diagnosed with the corona virus in the last day, the Ministry of Health updated yesterday (Tuesday).

Yesterday, results were obtained for 145,868 tests, of which 7.65% were positive.

The death toll from the outbreak rose to 7,043.

Of the verified diagnosed, 5,461 are students.
