The government today (Wednesday) approved, in a telephone poll, the decision of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and the Ministers of Finance, Health and Economy to allocate NIS 55 million for grants to medical staff and health care workers who directly dealt with corona virus treatment.
The purpose of the budget is to honor the employees of the medical system, and as part of this it was decided to give the teams that dealt directly with Corona, a one-time grant of about 1,000 NIS for use in cultural and leisure businesses in the country.

In the coming weeks, the relevant medical staff will receive a multiple-time debit card in the said amount, which can be realized in the cultural and leisure business to which the green label applies.
The debit cards will be purchased by the Ministry of Economy and Industry, and will be distributed to the medical staffs by the hospitals and health funds.
