On Monday, one minute before midnight, the last US soldier boarded the last flight from Afghanistan.

It marked the end of a chaotic evacuation of around 123,000 people from the war-torn country.

The “funeral” of the Western powers was supported by some supporters with waving Taliban flags.

Others held rifles in the air, some simply documented the procession with their smartphones.

Within a few hours, the recordings from Khost spread across social media.

What is clear, however, is that

many weapons and equipment manufactured in the USA and by the Afghan armed forces who fled were left behind.

They are now obviously in the hands of the Taliban.

In some videos published on Tuesday, Taliban supporters can be seen roaming the Kabul airport in uniforms supplied by the USA.

In their hands: shiny rifles, state-of-the-art night vision devices.

In the background: US helicopters.

According to Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, these helicopters cannot be flown.

Some of the videos from Tuesday say differently.

Before the withdrawal from Afghanistan, US troops destroyed over 70 aircraft and numerous armored vehicles and put air defense systems out of action.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has emphasized that it does not want to accept any refugees from Afghanistan *.
