Child actor Matthew Mindler died by suicide, according to the Pennsylvania coroner's office.
Mindler, a freshman at Millersville University in Lancaster County, was found dead near his campus on Saturday.
School authorities said the 19-year-old was found in a wooded area in Manor Township after a search by a team of 40 people.
The cause of death is still pending, but the form was ruled suicide
, Eric Bieber said with the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.

Mindler was reported missing days before his death.
The university said in a statement Saturday that it had attended classes earlier in the week.
In a video from inside a college dorm, Mindler could be seen emerging from her dorm in West Villages around 8 p.m. on August 24.
School officials said he walked into a parking area and did not return to campus.
"We accompany his friends and family in our thoughts, wishing them comfort and peace, at this difficult time," Millersville University President Daniel A. Wubah said in the statement.
His family has not made any statements about the death.
