At around 5 p.m., they were only able to recover the missing mountaineer dead below the climb to the Mittenwalder Hut (1515 meters). According to the police, it is a 63-year-old from Naumburg who had been swallowed by the ground since 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Last seen was the spa guest at the Mittenwalder hut. According to initial findings, the man probably slipped away and fell over steep terrain about 70 meters in altitude and died in the process.
