Police reported today (Wednesday) various incidents of violence following fines for not wearing a mask.
Among other things, in Rishon Lezion, a young man who was fined punctured the mobile tires of municipal inspectors, and near Jerusalem, policewomen were attacked by a young man who was not wearing a mask on a bus.
One of the incidents occurred during an operation to enforce regulations on public transport in the capital area.
Police officers asked a passenger on a bus without a mask to identify himself.
The 22-year-old passenger from Givat Ze'ev refused the request, beat the policewomen, and caused them injuries.
Following the attack, he was arrested and taken for questioning by the police.

In the second incident, in Rishon Lezion, municipal inspectors spotted two men without a mask in the Golden Mall and wrote reports to them, and were answered with insults.
Inspectors left the scene and continued their work, until one of the mall visitors approached them and said he had noticed a man puncturing one of their mobile tires.
The inspectors called the police to the scene, and in checking the security photos of the mall, the suspect in the act was identified as one of the two men who received the fine, a 22-year-old resident of Tel Aviv.
