The Dutch diplomatic mission in Kabul will be transferred to Qatar following the Taliban seizure of power in Afghanistan, Dutch Foreign Minister Sigrid Kaag announced Wednesday (September 1st) in Doha.

I asked His Excellency to kindly accept the relocation (to Doha) of our embassy so that the Netherlands remain effective
" in their management of the Afghan crisis, said Sigrid Kaag during a press conference in Doha with its Qatari counterpart.
