New Legionnaire: Guard Ron Guttman has signed a one-season contract with the Ukrainian League's Bodiblnik Kiev.
Guttman (24, 1.92 m), grew up in the youth department of Maccabi Petah Tikva and for the past two years has been on the staff of Bnei Herzliya, and last season was a partner in four games.
The player recently received Ukrainian citizenship due to the fact that his parents were born in the country before immigrating to Israel, and now he joins the top team from the local league, which includes ex-Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa, Reggie Apshou.
