The Iranian Revolutionary Guards dismantled a terrorist cell in the Kurdistan province in the west of the country.
The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted the media website of the Bait Al-Maqdis Corps in the Kurdistan province of the Revolutionary Guards as saying, “A terrorist group infiltrated the country from the borders of the Kurdistan region of Iraq with the intention of sabotage, as it was ambushed by the Revolutionary Guards in the Kurdistan province, and clashes took place in the Saro-Abad area, where the Eliminating a number of terrorists and wounding others.”
The website indicated that large quantities of equipment and ammunition were seized from the terrorists.
Kurdistan is witnessing movements of terrorist cells, which the Iranian forces are constantly confronting.
