A military helicopter crashed into the sea off the coast of San Diego today after taking off from the USS Abraham Lincoln.
The US Pacific Fleet said on its Twitter account that an MH60S helicopter took off from the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and crashed into the sea while performing routine flights about 60 nautical miles off the coast of San Diego.
The fleet indicated that search and rescue operations are continuing with many air and surface pieces of the Coast Guard and the Navy to find out the fate of their crew.
