180 companies in the launch of the specialized export exhibition for clothing and textiles

With the participation of more than 180 national companies, the activities of the “Made in Syria” specialized export exhibition for clothing and textiles fall and winter 2021-2022, organized by the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the Syrian Exporters Association for Clothes and Textiles, with the participation of more than 180 national companies.

The companies participating in the four-day exhibition display the latest models of various types of men's, children's and women's clothing, fabrics and production requirements, targeting the markets of neighboring countries through hundreds of businessmen who have been invited from many countries, especially Iraq, to ​​conclude deals to export these products to the markets of these countries and others.

In statements to the media, the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Muhammad Samer Al-Khalil, indicated that the exhibition includes the latest new textile products with high-level competition between industrial companies, pointing out that the visitors of the exhibition from specialists abroad in the garment trade were keen to attend to buy Syrian goods, indicating that the local product still maintains The high quality is competitive in the market.

Minister of Industry Ziad Sabbagh pointed out that the exhibition indicates that the Syrian industry is fine and that each cycle carries new products and confirms that there is a development in products that meet the desires of consumers, whether inside or outside the country, pointing out that the industry has begun to return to its former glory.

Ragheed Al-Halabi, head of the Syrian Garment and Textile Exporters Association, pointed out that the exhibition is distinguished in this session by the number of participants and the type of participation, as it is held on a permanent basis by hosting businessmen from all countries, pointing to the facilities granted to Iraqi merchants to visit Syria, which heralds an increase in the volume of Syrian exports.

A member of the Board of Directors of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, Majd Al-Din Shashman, explained that there is a participation of industrialists from different governorates and that this exhibition is important in order to market their products of high-quality winter clothes, which develop and vary from year to year, so that the Syrian industrialist proves his presence with distinguished products that meet the admiration of Syrian and Arab traders. And foreigners wishing to provide all facilities for the export of Syrian goods to neighboring countries.

Engineer Muhannad Daadoush, a member of the Damascus and Rural Chamber of Industry, pointed out the importance of the exhibition to introduce the Syrian product, which has not stopped despite the difficulties and challenges, pointing out that more than 700 merchants from various neighboring countries were invited to visit the exhibition and exchange commercial activity widely.
