IMPOSE Mr. MARCELO GALLARDO a fine of USD 50,000 (FIFTY THOUSAND US DOLLARS) for the violation of article 5.1.12.6 number 2) of the Club Manual of CONMEBOL Libertadores 2021. The amount of this fine will be automatically debited from the amount to be received. by the ATLÉTICO RIVER PLATE CLUB of CONMEBOL in respect of Television or Sponsorship rights.
2nd.
IMPOSE the CLUB ATLÉTICO RIVER PLATE a fine of USD 20,000 (TWENTY THOUSAND US DOLLARS) for the violation of article 5.1.12.6 number 2) of the Club Manual of CONMEBOL Libertadores 2021. The amount of this fine will be automatically debited from the amount to be received. by the ATLÉTICO RIVER PLATE CLUB of CONMEBOL in respect of Television or Sponsorship rights.

IMPOSE a WARNING to the CLUB ATLÉTICO RIVER PLATE for the violation of article 5.3.1 literal a) of the CONMEBOL Libertadores 2021 Club Manual.

EXPRESSLY WARNING Mr. MARCELO GALLARDO and the CLUB ATLÉTICO RIVER PLATE that in the event of a recurrence of any infringement of sports discipline of the same or similar nature to which this procedure has brought cause, the provisions of Art. 31 of the Disciplinary Code shall apply. CONMEBOL, and the consequences that may arise from it.

NOTIFY Mr. MARCELO GALLARDO and CLUB ATLÉTICO RIVER PLATE.
Against the first and second points of this decision, an appeal may be made to the CONMEBOL Appeals Commission within a period of 7 (seven) calendar days from the day following the notification of the grounds for this decision in accordance with Article 67.2 of the Disciplinary Code of the CONMEBOL. The appeal must comply with the formalities required in article 67.4 and following of the CONMEBOL Disciplinary Code. In accordance with Art. 67.5 of the CONMEBOL Disciplinary Code, the appeal fee of USD. 3,000 (THREE THOUSAND US DOLLARS) must be paid by bank transfer.
