Cairo, SANA- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas reiterated that the Palestinian people will continue their struggle until the end of the conflict

Cairo-SANA

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas reiterated that the Palestinian people will continue their struggle until the end of the Israeli occupation and the achievement of their inalienable legitimate rights, foremost of which is the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

During a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Jordanian King Abdullah II in Cairo today, Abbas explained that the Israeli occupation continues its violations and crimes against the Palestinian people through systematic killing, arrest campaigns, house demolitions, land seizure and expansion of settlement operations, especially in the occupied city of Jerusalem, with the aim of changing its character and identity. The attack on its Islamic and Christian sanctities, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque, undermines any chance of establishing an independent Palestinian state and leads to more tension and instability in the region.

Abbas indicated that the Israeli occupation is escalating its violations and repressive practices against the Palestinians to implement its aggressive plans in flagrant violation of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy, calling on the international community to urgently intervene and pressure the occupation to stop its violations and hold those responsible to account.

Abbas said: We will continue to work for the unity of the Palestinian ranks and the achievement of national interests on the basis of everyone's commitment to international legitimacy, and we welcome the participation of Egypt and Jordan to end the Israeli occupation of the land of the State of Palestine because it is the only way to save the region from chaos.
